SOUTH & WEST SIKKIM
The South & West districts offer a complete experience of the tranquil land of Sikkim. A visit to the only Tea Garden in Sikkim at Temi allows you to observe the processing of your morning brew. Temi Tea is reputed to have a rare combination of flavor as well as strength and is considered on of the finest in the world. The two monasteries at Ralang follow the Kagyupa tradition of Buddhism and are amongst the holiest in Sikkim. The Pemayangtse monastery houses the
'Zangdoplari' or the heavenly abode of Guru Padmasambhava, the great Buddhist saint of the
7th century. A serenely beautiful lake located amidst a dense forest, Khecheopalri Lake is popularly believed to make your wish come true.
