Yuksom Tours & Treks was established in 1991 as a travel company based in Gangtok, Sikkim. It is registered and recognized by the Government of Sikkim. In course of the last 12 years we have many satisfied guests for whom we have endevoured to provide professionalism with the warmth of Sikkimese hospitality.

Karma P. Takapa : Founder and proprietor of the company, Karma has been actively promoting responsible tourism in Sikkim and the eastern Himalayas for more than a decade. He has been associated with the Travel Agents Association of Sikkim as the General Secretary and Executive member of the governing body. He is also associated in executive capacity as a founder member of Sikkim Development Foundation, an NGO working actively in the development sector, including sustainable tourism, in Sikkim and of the Green Circle, the pioneer environmental group in Sikkim. Jeetu Giri : Jeetu has a decade long experience in the tourism sector and has led and continues to do so, groups for tours, treks and various other leisure & study activities along the Himalayas and many parts of India. He has also attended a number of training programmes, workshops and field trips organized by the government and leading NGOs.
